In Piraeus, Athens, we designed Beautiful Athens Aesthetics, a 63 sqm wellness center that had to adapt to a narrow footprint distributed across three levels: ground floor, basement, and loft.
CHALLENGE
The main challenge was to transform this spatial constraint into an opportunity—maximizing every square meter while crafting environments that express both comfort and sophistication.
Our approach was highly strategic, ensuring every square meter contributed to both function and atmosphere. The layout was carefully defined: the basement reimagined as a warm, intimate treatment area, while the loft was dedicated to VIP services, offering privacy and exclusivity.
We introduced discreet, space-saving solutions — such as a concealed kitchenette, a compact office, and a staff shower tucked into the restroom — that support daily operations without disrupting the design.
Color played a central role in shaping emotions and well-being. Soft pastel tones and warm finishes were selected to evoke calmness, serenity, and balance, intentionally contrasting the gray, urban surroundings. Layered lighting design further amplified this effect, creating luminous, welcoming atmospheres that encourage relaxation and connection.
The result is a compact yet refined wellness studio where layout, materials, color, and light converge to deliver a holistic sensory experience that embodies the brand’s identity.
